Polish EU Presidency "lowers ambitions" for EU defence

During a policy briefing on the new Polish Presidency of the European Council, Mr Jan Tombinski, Permanent Representative of Poland to the EU, stated that Poland will be lowering its EU defence reform ambitions, adding that some previous EU projects have been a "senseless waste of money".
