China is quietly amassing one of the most formidable military forces the world has ever seen. With the unveiling of its first aircraft carrier last year, it’s expected that China will be able to project its power across the globe before the end of the decade with the acquisition of further carriers. To match its new military capability, China is working on its own 5th generation fighter, the J-31 Falcon Eagle. Little is known about the jet – other than it representing more than just a passing resemblance to the F-35 – so we had a look to find all the latest pictures and videos of the J-31 to get a better idea of what sort of aircraft China is developing.
