Raytheon slots into the number five position of the biggest defence companies.
Raytheon is the largest provider of guided missiles in the world with about 90% of the defence company’s total revenues being military-related.
Headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts, the defence contractor provides electronics, mission systems integration and other capabilities in the areas of sensing; effects; and command, control, communications and intelligence systems; as well as a broad range of mission support services.
The company states that its strategy will focus on sensing equipment, C3I, mission support, and the use of kinetic and non kinetic effects, such as cyber and electronic warfare and directed energy weapons.
