About this Podcast...
Colonel Neale Moss is commander of the UK Attack Helicopter Force and, in this interview, he and his wingman, Major David Amlôt, talk about Apache helicopter armaments and their deployment in Afghanistan. Specifically, they address the small precision weapon class of ordnance - the Hellfire and CRV7 rocket platforms. They speak to the kinetic benefits of these weapons, the ability to deploy them at significant distances from the target and the inherent benefit of using these weapons (as opposed to larger classes) to limit collateral damage.
