Sweden confirmed Sunday the presence of a suspicious foreign vessel in its waters after receiving three "credible" sightings in the Stockholm archipelago and nearby coastal area.
It’s thought that a Russian distress signal was intercepted on an emergency frequency by Swedish authorities, suggesting the military operation into this "foreign underwater activity" is in fact a hunt for a damaged Russian submarine.
