 
                                                                             
                                        
                                        Rod Meranda is the Business Development Director for the Domestic and   International E-7 programs. In this role, he is responsible for leading teams to capture   the USAF’s and International E-7A and Advanced E-7 capabilities. Additionally, he is   responsible for positioning Boeing for USAF/International manned BMC2 captures (E-3,   E-7 and BMC2 systems). These efforts include subsystems to include mission systems,   software and communications systems.  Previously, Meranda was Boeing’s Senior Manager responsible for the capture of   NEAT to include TACAMO, Exec Transport and SAOC programs. He was also the   JSTARS Capture Team Leader. In these roles he was responsible for domestic   marketing of systems and sub-systems to include the Joint Surveillance Target Attack   Radar System Recap (JSTARS), Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) and  Airborne Early Warning and Control Systems (AEW&C).  Meranda’s previous industry experience as a Lead Associate with Booz Allen   Hamilton included responsibility for capturing Command and Control (C2) business.  Additionally, Meranda served 25 years in the U.S. Air Force retiring at the rank of   Colonel. He was the C2 Division Chief on USAF’s Headquarters’ Air Staff, responsible   for policies for Joint Terminal Air Control Systems, AWACS, JSTARS and Air   Operations Centers. He served on the Joint Staff and commanded an AWACS   squadron. He has seven combat tours to include command. He holds a bachelor’s   degree in Aviation from the Ohio State University and two master’s degrees
