As Vice President of Strategy & Business Development for Skunk Works® , Jeff "Cobra" Harrigian leads a team responsible for developing strategy, identifying opportunities, and capturing new business across Skunk Works portfolio domestically and internationally. His team ensures growth by working closely with and listening to the customer to understand their challenges and gaps, then quickly providing solutions that leverage Skunk Works 80+ years of innovation. The team also ensures enduring programs remain sold and identifies opportunities to extend programs. Collaborating with colleagues across Aeronautics and Lockheed Martin to quickly provide customers with best value and solutions that take into consideration the complex, dynamic and Joint/Multi-domain environments our customers operate in. Cobra joined Lockheed Martin following a distinguished 37-year career in the United States Air Force (USAF), he is a retired General. His USAF career culminated with an assignment as commander, U.S. Air Forces Europe, Africa, Allied Air Command (NATO). Prior to serving in this role he was commander, U.S. Air Forces Central Command where he was responsible for air operations across the Middle East region, largely in support of Operation Inherent Resolve and Enduring Freedom. He possesses in-depth knowledge and experience in the Air and Missile Defense of NATO alliance nations and designed the approach to fully integrate U.S. and NATO command and control capabilities. During his USAF career he held key positions as the deputy director for Strategy and Plans, U.S. Forces – Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and deputy for Operations at Central Command and Headquarters Air Force, while also serving as the first director of the F-35 Integration Office. Cobra also served as chief of the Joint Exercise Division at NATO's Joint Warfare Center. He flew the F-22, F-15C, A/OA-37 and MQ-1 and has an impressive record of accomplishments and a reputation for excellent leadership. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the United States Air Force Academy and a master's degree in aeronautical science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
