General Francisco Braco Carbó

Chief of Air Staff Spanish Air and Space Force

General Braco is a former C-130, Falcon 900 and Airbus 310 pilot accounting for more than 9000 flying hours. In addition to his operational assignments, he has been posted at the Headquarters of the Air Combat Command and the Military Department of the Royal Household. From 2014 to July 2024, he has been stationed in the Joint Operations Command where he has held several positions before being appointed Commander. In 2024 he was appointed Chief of Staff of the Spanish Air and Space Force and promoted to Air General. He holds the Society for International Studies course, a Master in Security and Defense and the National Defense Course. He has participated in multiple operations overseas, such as UNTAG, Deny Flight, UNPROFOR, Decisive Endeavour, Deliberate Guard, Deliberate Force and Allied Force. General Braco is married and is father of two sons, and also has three grandsons.
