Deputy Commander 80th Flying Training Wing

Col. Nicholas A. Suppa is Deputy Commander, 80th Flying Training Wing, Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas, supporting execution of 55,000 sorties and 66,000 hours for Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training. ENJJPT, NATO's only internationally manned and managed undergraduate pilot training program, includes 14 nations and hosts Introduction to Fighter Fundamentals and instructor training. A 2004 U.S. Air Force Academy graduate, Col. Suppa flew the F-15E and F-35A, commanded the 56th Operations Support Squadron, led F-35 integration at Allied Air Command, and served as Military Assistant to its commander. He is a command pilot with more than 2,500 flight hours, including 400-plus combat hours.
