Mr. David Dopp

Program Lead, Future Battle Platforms, PEO GCS U.S. Army

Mr. David J. Dopp Jr. is the Project Lead for Future Battle Platforms in PEO Ground Combat Systems. Future Battle Platforms includes the Mobile Protected Firepower Product Office and the Robotic Combat Vehicle Product Office. As the Project Lead, he directs diverse teams of experienced acquisition and engineering professionals in developing the United States Army’s next generation Fighting Vehicles.

David Dopp joined federal service in 1984. His previous assignments include: OSD Pentagon, Project Manager Stryker Brigade Combat Team; Product Manager-Medium Tactical Vehicles; Project EngineerFuture Combat Systems; Engineering Division Chief-US/UK Future Scout and Cavalry System and Project Engineer-Tank Automotive Research Development & Engineering Center. His major military education includes: the US Army War College, Army Management Staff College and Program Management at the Defense Acquisition University.

Mr. Dopp holds a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Master’s in Business Administration, and a Master’s in Strategic Studies. He is Acquisition Level III certified in Program management, Test and Evaluation, and Systems Engineering.
