Defence iQ’s marked the start of the conference calendar with the 23rd annual International Armoured Vehicles (IAVC) conference. Over 950 defence professionals gathered in London for four days of world-class strategic briefings, panel discussions, and networking. Multiple perspectives from NATO nations were joined by valued non-NATO perspectives with Sweden, Nigeria, Japan, Brazil, Pakistan and Australia all represented on the agenda, and contributing to a diverse mix of over 40 nations onsite in 2023. With the War in Ukraine providing a strategic backdrop many discussions centred on a return to Large Scale Combat Operations and the need to maintain and sustain mass on the battlefield.
