Colonel Igor Plis, MD, PhD.

Colis Plis graduated from the Ivano-Frankivsk State Medical Academy in 2002. In the same year, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine and began training at the Ukrainian Military Medical Academy, specialising in Surgery. After graduating from the academy in 2005, he was assigned as Head of the Urology Department at the Saky Central Military Clinical Hospital. From 2007 to 2014, he served as Head of the Centre for Rehabilitation Treatment for military personnel and the peacekeeping contingent in Saky. From 2014, he served as Head of the Polyclinic Department, and later as Deputy Commander of the Mukachevo Military Hospital. Since 2024, he has been serving as Head of the Directorate for Coordination of Military Medicine within the Medical Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He holds a PhD in Surgery.

Missions:

2014 – 2017. Chief of a forward surgical group in the Anti-Terrorist Operation in Eastern Ukraine;

2018–2021. Medical Planner for the multinational brigade LITPOLUKRBRIG;

2022. Head of the Operational Control Centre of Medical Task Force” SLOVIANSK”;

2023. Head of the Medical Support Command Post of the Zaporizhzhia Hospital;

2024–2025. Commander of Medical Task Force “NORTH”.
