US and UK Naval Forces Take to Arabian Gulf in Minehunting Exercises

The UK Royal Navy and the US Navy joined forces in the Arabian Gulf last month to develop their respective skills in minehunting within shallow, warm waters.
The fleet was comprised of the UK’s two Sandown-class vessels, HMS Grimsby and HMS Pembroke, and two Hunt-class mine countermeasure vessels (MCMVs), HMS Middleton and HMS Chiddingfold, alongside four US Avenger-class vessels; Ardent, Gladiator, Scout, and Dexterous.
