Military Flight Training Report 2016: Holdings and Requirements

The World’s Air Forces operate 7, 417 fixed-wing training aircraft, with a further 737 on order. These represent increases of 3.9% and 17.9% respectively, over 2014. A quarter of the total fleet is in North America, with 25.1% in Asia-Pacific and 22.7% in Europe. Of those on order, 33.9% are in Asia-Pacific, with 26.7% in the Middle-East, 5.6% in North America, 16.1% in Europe and 15.7% in Latin America. Latin America has seen the largest growth rate, both in its training fleet (an increase of 10.8%) and numbers on order (increased by 65.7%) over the last year.

Over 1,100 Fixed-Wing Military Training Aircraft are forecast for delivery in the next 10 years, valued at nearly $20 billion, according to this report, which has been produced in association with Insyen..
