Adam Haskard

Adam Haskard operates at the intersection of cybersecurity, robotics, and emerging technology, specialising in the protection of complex cyber-physical systems. His work integrates defence-grade cybersecurity with applied robotics research, advancing secure autonomy in contested and safety-critical environments.


As Founder and Principal Consultant at Bluerydge, an Australian cybersecurity and technology firm, Adam leads research and development initiatives focused on securing operational technology and autonomous systems. He also directs Centurion, Bluerydge’s applied research program dedicated to strengthening robotic and autonomous platforms against digital and physical threats through real-time anomaly detection, human-robot trust modelling, and multi-layered defence architectures.


Adam is a PhD Candidate in Secure Robotics at the University of Canberra’s Collaborative Robotics Lab, where his research examines the trustworthiness and resilience of robotic systems operating in dynamic, adversarial contexts. His work contributes to advancing the theoretical and practical foundations of secure robotics by integrating cybersecurity, safety engineering, and human-trust frameworks.


With a professional background spanning the Royal Australian Navy, defence primes, and cybersecurity consulting, Adam brings a mission-focused and execution-driven approach to bridging research and operational outcomes. He is a frequent contributor to discussions on cybersecurity, robotics, and national resilience, and is committed to shaping the secure deployment of intelligent autonomous systems across defence, government, and industry domains.
