Deputy Commander Romanian Army

Major General Daniel Pop is Deputy Commander of the Romanian Army, bringing more than three decades of military leadership and operational experience. Having commanded units from platoon to brigade level, he has served in Kosovo and Afghanistan and held senior roles in training, doctrine and military education, including Commander of the National Defence University and Head of the Training and Doctrine Directorate.
