Lieutenant General (Ret'd) Corneliu Postu
Former Director Romanian Defence StaffLieutenant General (Ret’d) Corneliu Postu is a senior Romanian officer who served as the Director of the Romanian Defense Staff (formerly General Staff) starting in November 2017, following roles as acting Director and Assistant Director. Born in 1965 in Roman, Neamț County, he built an extensive career in air defense, operational planning, and command, including NATO-focused roles in Turkey and education at the Brașov National Defense University.
