Major General Jarosław Górowski

Commander NATO Multinational Division North-East

Born in Bielsko Biała, he graduated from the Land Forces (Army) Academy in Wrocław in 1997 and was commissioned to the rank of Second Lieutenant. Following this, he completed the National Defense College (Warsaw), Canadian Land Forces Commanding and Staff College, Advanced Commanding and Staff Course in Joint Services Commanding and Staff College (UK), and Canadian Forces College. In November 2024, he was promoted to Major General following positions as Head of Armoured and Mechanized Forces Directorate - Deputy Inspector of the Land Forces of the General Command of the Armed Forces, Commander of the 1st Armoured Brigade (Wesoła), Chief of Staff in 18th Mechanised Division (Siedlce), Chief of General Command J – 3 (Ops), and Chief of Training in the 34th Armoured Cavalry Brigade.
