A distinguished Romanian military officer, academic, and defence educator, Colonel Tudorache has dedicated more than two decades to the development of land forces training, operational readiness, and military education. Following his graduation from the "Nicolae Bălcescu" Land Forces Academy of Sibiu in 2004, he served in a series of operational and leadership roles, including Platoon Commander, Deputy Company Commander, and Exercise Planning Officer. He spent much of his early military career at the "Getica" Land Forces Combat Training Center in Cincu, where he led live-fire training activities and later served as Training Area Commander. His operational experience includes two deployments to Afghanistan in support of ISAF and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), earning several national and international distinctions, including two NATO Non-Article 5 Medals and the U.S. Army Commendation Medal. Alongside his military service, he has pursued extensive academic development, holding two master's degrees, a PhD in Military and Intelligence Sciences, and a Habilitation in Military Sciences. Since 2016, he has held a number of senior academic leadership positions at the "Nicolae Bălcescu" Land Forces Academy. In 2025, he was appointed Vice-Rector (Deputy Commander for Academics). He is also an accomplished researcher, having authored or co-authored 15 books and book chapters, published over 40 scientific papers, and contributed to multiple defence research projects.
