Colonel Oleksii Kolomoiets

Oleksii Kolomoiets has served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine since 2003 and joined the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine in 2021. Since March 2026, he has been Acting Director of the Directorate for Digital Transformation in Defence, where he coordinates the Ministry's key digital transformation initiatives and helps shape strategy, policy, standards and procedures in digital transformation, cybersecurity, data management and IT architecture. Previously, he headed the Directorate's Expert Group for Process Management and Business Analysis, leading process optimisation and contributing as a process architect and business analyst to the development of the Reserve+ and Army+ mobile applications. Earlier in his career, he was responsible for information systems and network infrastructure in the Ukrainian Navy, including the deployment and support of information services during international military exercises. He holds a degree from the Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informatisation at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMI) and Process Analyst (ABPMP BPM CBOK).
