A highly experienced Romanian Army officer, Col Todosiuc has served in a wide range of command, operational, and strategic roles across the land and joint force domains. After graduating from the "Nicolae Bălcescu" Land Forces Academy of Sibiu in 2005, he began his military career with the 2nd Mountain Brigade "Sarmizegetusa", where he commanded both an Alpine Reconnaissance Platoon and a Reconnaissance Group before progressing to Deputy Company Commander and Company Commander positions. His operational experience includes two deployments to Afghanistan in support of international missions, providing him with valuable expertise in expeditionary operations, peace support activities, and coalition environments. Following his operational assignments, he held several key leadership positions, including Head of the Military Representation Office at the Joint Logistics Command, Head of the International Military Cooperation Office within the General Defence Staff, and Commander of the 307th Infantry Battalion and subsequently the 307th Infantry Regiment. He later served as Deputy Commander of the Marine Infantry and Head of Planning within the General Defence Staff before becoming Deputy Commander of the 282nd Armoured Brigade "Unirea Principatelor". Alongside his military service, he has pursued advanced professional education in defence diplomacy, military studies, crisis management, and strategic leadership, including studies at the U.S. Marine Corps University and NATO Defence College. In 2025, he was appointed Commandant of the "Nicolae Bălcescu" Land Forces Academy of Sibiu. His distinguished service has been recognised through numerous honours and decorations, including the NATO Medal, the honorary title of Military Veteran, and multiple Emblems of Honour awarded by the Romanian Armed Forces.Provide your feedback on BizChat
