Chief of Staff for Airbus Helicopters UK, Steve has been with the company since July 2022. Before this, he served as an officer in the British Royal Navy for more than 29 years as a battlefield helicopter pilot, staff officer and commander. Specialising as a senior grade helicopter instructor, he was the Commanding Officer of the UK Military Flying Training System (Rotary Wing) and oversaw the transition from the previous organisation to the current H135/H145 format, with the total system advances that this change introduced. Having conducted numerous overseas operational deployments and periods of embarked operations, Steve also brings a breadth of real-world operating experience to the team.
