Brigadier General Scott Wilkinson

Commanding General US Army Special Operations Aviation Command

Brigadier General Wilkinson grew up in an Army family and received his commission in 1994 as the Distinguished Military Graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology ROTC program. He most recently served as the Deputy Commanding Officer for Support, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Kentucky and in EUCOM. His previous command assignments include C Company, 3-229th Attack Helicopter Battalion (AH-64); B Company, 1/160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (AH-6); 2nd Battalion, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment; Task Force 1-160; and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. His previous staff and special assignments include: Attack Helicopter Battalion Intelligence Officer in 1st Battalion, 501st Aviation Regiment (AH-64); Task Force S1, Liaison Officer to the 75th Ranger Regiment, and Task Force Executive Officer in Task Force 1-160; Regiment Operations Officer for the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment; Chief of the Special Management Division at U.S. Army Human Resources Command; Deputy Commander of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, Chief of Staff for the U.S. Army Special Operations Command; and Chief of the U.S. Army’s Liaison Division in the U.S. Senate.
