Colonel Guillaume Briançon-Rouge

Head of HR, Studies, and Doctrinal Foresight French Army Aviation

Born on September 17, 1980, Colonel Guillaume BRIANÇON-ROUGE is a graduate of Saint-Cyr (2000-2003) and serves in the French Army Aviation as head of HR, studies, and doctrinal foresight. He was a patrol leader and squadron commander at the 3rd Combat Helicopter Regiment in Étain. He served in the operational staff of the French Army, was director of officer training at the Army Aviation school, and served in the human resources directorate of the French Army. Promoted to colonel in 2023, he commanded the 3rd Combat Helicopter Regiment from 2023 to 2025. He is a graduate of the French War School – Paris and the United States Marine Corps University - Quantico. During his career, he has been deployed in the Republic of Ivory Coast, Djibouti, Afghanistan and Niger.
