Carl Forsling

Director of Business Development and Strategy Airbus US Space and Defense

Carl is currently Director of Business Development and Strategy for the Military Line of Business at Airbus US Space and Defense. He and his team are responsible for the sale of Airbus US helicopters and unmanned systems to the US military and for foreign military sales (FMS). Previously, Carl worked in business development at Bell Textron, where he supported the V-22 Osprey, helicopter FMS, and Future Vertical Lift (FVL) programs. Before working in business development, Carl served as a flight officer in the Baltimore City Police Department, operating EC120 helicopters. He is also a retired Marine Corps aviator, flying the MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor and the CH-46E Sea Knight helicopter, completing multiple deployments.
