Axel Aloccio

Head of NH90 program, Airbus Helicopters, President NHI

Axel Aloccio was appointed in September 2022 as the President of NH Industries (NHI), the joint venture which was set up between Airbus Helicopters, Leonardo Helicopter Division and Fokker for the design, development, manufacturing and support of the NH90 helicopter. Axel is also the Senior Vice-President in charge of the NH90 program at Airbus Helicopters, a role that he is holding in parallel of his NHI ap-pointment. Prior to that, Axel has held various positions in Sales and Program business functions at Air-bus Helicopters, since 2005. Axel holds an MBA from the International University of Japan and is also a graduate from Sciences Po Paris. A 49-year old French citizen, Axel is a father of 2 children and lives in Aix en Provence, in the south of France.
