Mikael Grev, co-founder and CEO of Avioniq, is a lifelong computer programmer who took a seventeen-year career detour as an elite fighter pilot with the Swedish Air Force. He began flying jets at the Swedish Air Force Flying School in 1995, moving onto the Viggen before spending seven years at the controls of the Gripen multirole fighter. With his fighter pilot and software engineer skillset Mikael has shaped Avioniq’s unique approach to the future of combat operations, with a state-of-the-art product suite that harnesses the power of edge-computing and dynamic on-platform simulation to deliver decision superiority operators can rely on.
