Fering will be displaying 2 variants of their Pioneer.
The Fering Pioneer X is a revolutionary ultra-high-mobility variant of the world’s longest range, all-terrain electric vehicle, designed for specialist mission profiles. Developed in collaboration with global special forces, this British-built vehicle sets new standards in tactical mobility.
Also on display is the Pioneer Utility platform; in a world where the threat of small drones is inescapable, the platform provides enough power to run radar systems, counter-drone lasers or jammers, as well as electro-magnetic tracking sensor suites. This provides reassurance that the vehicles and troops are cable of defending themselves from a type of threat that is difficult to predict, and could dramatically alter the calculus of deploying troops to at-risk high threat areas.
In a nutshell, the combination of range and power is intended to ensure that the Pioneer can go wherever it has to, and do what it needs to once there. The Utility version is built just for this purpose, in collaboration with KIRINETIC with a fully integrated CEMA suite, the platform demonstrates the flexibility of the platform to support different mission sets.
With a 7,000+ km range from its onboard multi-fuel range extender and a 1,650 kg ultra-lightweight modular design, with a class leading payload to weight ratio, the Pioneer delivers unmatched versatility. It effortlessly adaptable to roles whether you need a 4x4 pickup, 6x6 extended-payload vehicle, a personnel carrier, or command and-control station. It is air-transportable and capable of low-velocity airdrop, fully submersible and it integrates seamlessly with ring-mounted weapon systems through our partners ISTEC.
The Pioneer X provides up to 60 kWh of power for onboard systems and deployable field equipment, ensuring mission readiness in any environment. Its EV-only mode allows silent operation for up to 80 km, while its adaptive fabric skin minimises battlefield signature with cutting edge materials.
Engineered for extreme conditions, the carbon chassis allows in-field customisation without specialist tools and can adapt to multiple roles in hours. Tested globally, the Pioneer has earned critical acclaim and is hailed as a “game-changer” for its unprecedented capabilities and operational versatility.
