Colonel (retd.) Rich Creed

Director of the Combined Arms Doctrine Directorate US Army Combined Arms Command

Commissioned an Armor officer in 1989 from the U.S. Military Academy and retired from active duty in 2021. Commanded at the company, battalion and brigade level. Held a variety of staff positions from the battalion to the four star command level. Served in Germany, Korea, Bosnia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. In position as the Director of the Combined Arms Doctrine Directorate at Fort Leavenworth since 2016, responsible for managing the US Army doctrine program and its capstone doctrine for operations, command and control, and echelons above division.

While on active duty served in multiple logistics related assignments, including as an armor battalion support platoon leader, headquarters company executive officer, armor brigade S4, and brigade special troops battalion commander.
