Deputy Chief of Staff, G2, and the Chief Futures Officer US Army DEVCOM Armaments Center

Dr. Michael A. Santaspirt is the Deputy Chief of Staff, G2, and the Chief Futures Officer for the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center, provider of more than 90% of the US Army’s lethality with a focus on advanced weapons, ammunition, and fire control systems . During the course of his Army career, he has had numerous assignments in Security, Intelligence, Technology Protection, and Security Assistance programs including Foreign Military Sales. Dr. Santaspirt holds advanced degrees in International Relations from Seton Hall University, an MBA from Texas A&M University, and a PhD from Rutgers – the State University of New Jersey where he developed predictive analytics techniques for detecting Improvised Explosive Devices.
