Senior Scientific Technical Manager for Networked Lethality U.S. Army DEVCOM Armaments Center

Mr. Zhelesnik is the Senior Scientific Technical Manager for Networked Lethality. He serves as the SSTM for Networked Lethality within the Weapons and Software Engineering Center (WSEC) at the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center (DEVCOM AC), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. Selected by the Director in February 2021, Mr. Zhelesnik assumed his new role after leading a world-class research and engineering competency responsible for developing advanced distributed network centric algorithms, architectures, expert systems and AI/ML based decision aids, intelligent control of assets, Counter- UAS/ Counter Swarm technologies, and autonomous collaboration technologies in support of full spectrum effects-based operations including, small unit manned/unmanned effects teaming.

Mr. Zhelesnik mission is to provide networked lethality technologies in support of armament systems. In addition to, working in the area of autonomous collaboration technologies, CUAS and Counter Swarm technologies, and small unit manned/unmanned effects teaming where the integration of weapons, robotics, sensors, and networks are being developed. His goal is to continue this collaboration integrating these technologies building armament networked lethality capabilities within these platforms.
