Major General James Akomolafe

Commander, Armoured Corps Nigerian Army

Born on 3rd May 1964 in Kwara State Nigeria.  A seasoned armour general with enormous operational experiences within and outside Nigeria, with several honours and awards.  Currently, Commander Nigerian Army Armour Corps.  He is the professional head of the Corps as well as the chief advisor to the Chief of Army Staff Nigeria on all armour matters.  Promulgates training policies for the Corps and supervises the career planning of all Nigerian Army Armour Corps personnel.  One of his major accomplishments is the repositioning of the Corps towards achieving a professionally responsive Nigerian Army.
