Emre Akın has BS and MSc degrees from Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Middle East Technical University (METU) and MBA from Bilkent University. He has 20+ years of aerospace and defence experience from program management, business development and strategic planning roles. Throughout his career, Emre has been involved with multinational/international programs for rocket and missile systems, air, naval and land platforms like F-35, F16, NATO AWACS E3-A, various types of submarines and surface ships, Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM), Black Hawk helicopter and Ejder Yalcin 4x4 / NMS 4x4 tactical wheeled armored vehicles. Emre has been working as Strategic Planning and Market Development Director for Nurol Makina since 2017 and Strategic Planning Dept. Head for Nurol Holding since 2020.
