Jesús Sánchez Loureiro

Business Development and Sales Director ARQUIMEA

Jesús (Jechu) Sánchez Loureiro is the Business Development and Sales Director at ARQUIMEA since August 2021. He brings extensive experience from his career in the Spanish Army, where he reached the rank of Colonel. He began his military career serving in Infantry Mountain Units and Army Education Centers as a Second Lieutenant and Captain. After his promotion to Major and completion of the Spanish Army General Staff Course, he served in the Army General Staff, Plans Division. He later gained significant experience in operational logistics during his assignment at the Spanish Logistics Brigade. In July 2013, he was promoted to Colonel and appointed Commander of the 21st Logistic Regiment in Seville. In 2018, he joined the Ministry of Defense as Chief of Plans and Bilateral Relations at the Foreign Support Office, within the International Relations Under Directorate of the National Armament Directorate. His academic background includes the Mountain Troops Commander Course, the Spanish Army General Staff Course, the Senior Logistics Management Course, the NATO Defense School Senior Course, and the Royal College of Defence Studies in the UK. He holds an MA in International Security and Strategy from King's College London. He has participated in numerous international assignments across more than thirty countries and in operations in Mozambique, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Lebanon. In 2005, he commanded the Spanish Antarctic Base "Gabriel de Castilla.
