Jesús (Jechu) Sánchez Loureiro is the Business Development and Sales Director at ARQUIMEA since August 2021. He has extensive experience as a former member of the Spanish Army, where he achieved the rank of Colonel. In his early career, he served in Infantry Mountain Units and Army Education Centers as a Second Lieutenant and Captain. After being promoted to Major and completing the Spanish Army General Staff Course, he served for three years in the Army General Staff, Plans Division. His assignment at the Spanish Logistics Brigade provided him with significant experience in logistics support to operations. In July 2013, he was promoted to Colonel and appointed Commander of the 21st Logistic Regiment in Sevilla. Following this command, in January 2018, he was assigned to the Ministry of Defense as the Chief of Plans & Bilateral Relations Area - Foreign Support Office, within the International Relations Under Directorate of the National Armament Directorate. Regarding his academic achievements, he has completed the Mountain Troops Commander Course, the Spanish Army General Staff Course, the Senior Logistics Management Course, the 120th NATO Defense School Senior Course, and the Royal College of Defence Studies in the UK. He holds an MA in International Security and Strategy from King's College London. In 2022, he attended an International Operations Financial Management Course taught by ICEX. His international military experience includes numerous duty tours in over thirty countries and three overseas operations in Mozambique, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Lebanon. As a Major, he commanded the Spanish Antarctic "Base Gabriel de Castilla" in 2005, in Antarctica.
