Dr Kurt Binder

Director of Artillery KNDS Germany

Kurt Binder was born in 1982 in Gießen, Germany. He is married and has two sons. In the beginning of 2000, he joined the Germany Army as a cadet in the Artillery branch. During his military carrier he was trained on the M109, PzH 2000 and MARS II (European MLRS variant). One of his last position was in the Army Concepts and Capabilities Development department. Before joining KNDS Deutschland in 2016, he did his PhD in engineering on an aviation project concerning rapid manufacturing of metal based (Titanium alloys) products. In 2016 he joined the development department at KNDS Deutschland and switched later to the product management site to the division "combat systems". Currently he is responsible for the product management of all artillery systems within the division "Combat Systems"at KNDS`s "Home of Artillery" in Kassel. His main hobbies are sports (Tennis&Jogging) and repairing any kind of devices whether it is mechanical, electronic or software based caused. 6.Please indicate your anticipated arrival date & time:Required to answer.
