Began service in 1989 by joining Military Grammar School in Prague, Czechoslovakia. Joined the Slovak Armed Forces on 01st of September 1993. Graduated from Military Academy of Slovak Armed Forces in 1997 and positioned to deputy commander of training battery of the 5th Rocket Regiment in Martin, Slovakia. Received Master of Science in 2001. Successfully finished Artillery Captain Career Course, Fort Sill, Oklahoma, USA in 2009. Since August 2024 Chief of Joint Fire Support and Air Defence Department 2021 - 2024 Chief of Artillery / Chief of Fires of Slovak Armed Forces 2017 – 2021 Commander of 21st Self Propelled Artillery Battalion 2015 – 2017 Chief of staff of 21st Self Propelled Artillery Battalion 2014 Chief of staff of Security Forces Advisory Team - Mobile Strike Force, Kandahar, Afghanistan 1999 – 2013 Battery commander of various field artillery units 2010 – 2011 Chief of staff, Sector 4, United Nation Forces in Cyprus 2007 – 2008 Commander of 3rd Company, United Nation Disengagement Forces, Golan Heights, Syria During the military service deployed to Syria, Cyprus and Afghanistan. Since the beginning of the war on Ukraine, directly involved in support of Ukraine artillery troops. In 2023 elected as Chairman of NATO Integrated Capability Group Indirect Fire. Received numerous military awards including US Army Commendation Medal and Medal Non Article 5. Married for 23 years, two daughters. Living in small village Vinne, near Ukraine border. Hobby artillery, history, beekeeping and fishing. Speaks in English, Russia and Czech language.
