John Gibson

Chief Executive Officer and President Nauticus Robotics

John Gibson is Chief Executive Officer and President of Nauticus Robotics, and has served on the Board since 2022. He has led the company's move from offshore energy services into defence and critical undersea infrastructure, and its shift toward licensing its autonomy software onto third party vehicles.

He brings more than 35 years of global experience in energy technology and technical services. He was previously Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Flotek Industries, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Tervita Corporation. Earlier roles include Chief Executive Officer of Landmark Graphics, a pioneer in subsurface software, Chief Executive Officer of Paradigm Geophysical, and President of Halliburton Company's Energy Services Group.

He began his career at Chevron. He served in the United States Army and was honourably discharged in 1979. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Auburn University and a Master of Science in Geology from the University of Houston, and has served on the boards of several public and private companies.
