Lieutenant Colonel Pedro Costa

Defence Liaison Officer Portuguese Space Agency

Pedro Costa, born in Sever do Vouga, has a degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master's degree in Security and Defense, but he has always had his mind on the moon and has an immense passion for space. With the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Portuguese Air Force, Pedro is fascinated by space above and below the Kármán Line. While waiting for the opportunity to travel into space, he let his attraction to space technology and its value to humanity, both in terms of technological evolution and sustainability, drive his career path. Until he joined the Portuguese Space Agency, he worked as a Space Specialist for the Air Force. Pedro likes to recover his energy by going on motorcycle trips or immersing himself in the pages of a book.
