Colonel Christopher M. Hill

Director of the Global Tactical Edge Acquisition Directorate US Army

Colonel Christopher M. Hill Sr. commissioned into the Military Intelligence Branch in 1999 upon graduating from Officer Candidate School. During his operational career as a Military Intelligence Soldier and Officer, he served in various positions within the 513th Military Intelligence Brigade, 115th Military Intelligence Group/NSA Kunia, 25th Infantry Division DivArty as the S2, and the 125th Military Intelligence Battalion as the Alpha Company Commander. While commanding Alpha Company, he deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

In 2008, Colonel Hill transitioned into the Acquisition Corps, where he has managed programs and led teams in several key roles. These include assignments at the National Reconnaissance Office, as a Department of the Army System Coordinator, as an Assistant Program Manager (APM) in SOCOM, as the Product Manager for Aircraft Survivability Equipment Missile Warning System, as the Senior Acquisition Advisor to the Under Secretary of the Army, as the Project Manager for Integrated Fires Mission Command, and as the Director of the Global-Tactical Edge Acquisition Directorate. Colonel Hill holds a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Studies from Excelsior University, a master’s degree in Procurement and Acquisition Management from Webster University, and a Master of Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, the Program Manager’s Course, and Senior Service College.
