Matthew West
BOXER Programme Division Deputy Technical Section Leader OCCAR-EA
Matthew West is the BOXER Programme Division Deputy Technical Section Leader of the International Project Management Organisation OCCAR-EA. He has responsibilities for the delivery of new BOXER 8x8 variants, system safety and the delivery of technical requirements on behalf of Germany, the Netherlands, Lithuania and the United Kingdom. Over the last 15 years working for the UK Ministry of Defence, Matthew has managed several through life projects across the Land Domain, working with international partners and companies, to deliver technologically advanced step changes in capability, for both mounted and dismounted soldiers. Matthew earned his Batchelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Plymouth University and Master’s Degree in Weapon and Vehicle Systems from Cranfield University, both in the UK.
