Senior Principal Scientist DSTL

Tom Reed is a neuroscientist working at Dstl, focussing on augmenting cognitive performance in defence personnel. Through partnering with suppliers in academia and industry, his work focusses on the development and use of neurotechnology and brain computer interfaces for defence. Tom’s current role as the Project Technical Authority for the Human Augmentation project at Dstl allows him to explore a variety of other emerging technologies, with a clear drive to identify use cases within defence and communicate their applicability to front line commands.
