Commander of the Kalev Infantry Battalion Estonian Defence Forces
Lieutenant Colonel Vladimir Kolotõgin commands the Kalev Infantry Battalion and has over 20 years of service in the Estonian Defence Forces. His background includes light and armoured infantry, anti-tank guided missile systems, and mortars. A graduate of the U.S. Maneuver Captains Career Course and the École de Guerre, he deployed to Iraq for Operation Inherent Resolve. He speaks English, Estonian, Russian, and basic French.
