Lieutenant Colonel Ladislav Pfeifer
Deputy Commander 601st Special Operations Group
Lieutenant Colonel Ladislav Pfeifer has served his entire career within the Czech Special Operations Forces, progressing through a series of leadership roles within the 3rd Squadron of the 601st Special Forces Group. From 2011 to 2015, he served as a team leader, followed by assignments as company commander (2016–2019), deputy squadron commander (2020–2023), and squadron commander (2024–2025). He also served as J3 officer at Czech Special Operations Directorate from 2023 to 2024. He currently serves as Deputy Commander of the 601st Special Forces Group. His operational experience includes deployments to Afghanistan (2014, 2016, 2020) and Kenya (2019). Lieutenant Colonel Pfeifer is a graduate of the University of Defense in Brno (2006–2011) and the École de Guerre in Paris (2022–2023).
