Colonel Jörgen Axelsson
Director Nordic Division Swedish Air Force
Colonel Jörgen “CAP” Axelsson is Director Nordic Division, located at CAOC Bodø, Norway. He has completed higher military education at the Swedish Defense College in Stockholm. Jörgen has previously worked as DCOS OPS Swedish Air Staff, Wing commander flying at F 17 Blekinge Wing, Deputy Commander Swedish AOC and as Squadron Commander 172 Fighter Squadron based at Blekinge Wing. Jörgen is still an active pilot on the Swedish fighter aircraft JAS 39 Gripen. During his career he has flown more than 3000 hours of combat and school flying.
