C4ISR Specialist Amazon Web Services

Tim Lawrence is a C4ISR Specialist in the AWS UK Ministry of Defence team, where he supports the extension of MoD's digital backbone to support digital battlespace integration and AI decision making at scale. Before specialising in defence, Tim spent four years at AWS in global public sector roles focused on hybrid and edge technologies. He came to AWS from a decade spent with UK SMEs building sovereign cloud platforms that underpinned the government's Digital by Default agenda, work that helped deliver many of the UK's most-used public services. His work today sits at the intersection of hyperscale cloud, multi-domain operations, and the policy reform needed to close the capability gap between allied nations and adversaries already exploiting commercial technology at scale.
