A former senior military officer with a range of operational and staff experience spanning UK's Defence and Security enterprise. In his 33 years military service, having worked from tactical up to strategic levels around the globe, Mike's last job in uniform was heading a specialist capability branch responsible for a multi-£Billion programme that represented a microcosm of Defence. Joining industry (AtkinsRealis) in 2018, Mike was later invited to design and set up the Futures Lab Decision Support Service within Defence and has remained a keen team member since it started operating in 2021. Privileged with getting older, Mike is forever grateful for the personal and professional relationships forged throughout his life, his failures have been his own, the successes have been theirs
