Lieutenant General (ret.) DeAnna Burt

Former Deputy Chief of Space Operations for Operations Cyber, and Nuclear United States Space Force

DeAnna Burt is the Defence iQ 2027 C4ISR Conference Chair. She is a former three-star general officer with a distinguished career in space operations, with 33+ years of active-duty Air Force and Space Force experience. DeAnna is a space expert/multi-domain operator, planner, and strategist who has commanded at every level in the space enterprise. She is a plank holder in the establishment of United States Space Command and the United States Space Force with deep expertise and relationships in military, Civil, Commercial, and International space relations, policy, and governance. Her final assignment on active duty was on the Headquarters United States Space Force Staff in the Pentagon as the Deputy Chief of Space Operations for Operations, Cyber and Nuclear (S3/4/6/7/10). After retirement, DeAnna has founded her own consulting business where she now works to advise, consult and participate on boards with a space and national security focus across the government, business, finance, and nonprofit sectors.
