Jean-Luc Trullemans

Jean-Luc Trullemans is currently Head of the European Space Security and Education Centre (ESEC) within the Strategy, Legal and External Matters Directorate of the European Space Agency (ESA). ESEC is the ESA centre in Belgium dedicated to Space Security, Education, Smallsat & Cubesat operations and Navigation (EGNSS) activities. Jean-Luc joined ESA as security expert and advisor in 2020 after a thirty-year law enforcement career, along with BE Government as Senior security advisor for David Clarinval, Belgian deputy Prime Minister and Francois Bellot, Minister of Transport. Jean-Luc's initial curriculum is completed by a master's degree in Public Administration Management from the Solvay Business School (ULB), and various certificates including the Interuniversity Certificate in Multidisciplinary Crisis Management (ULB), Major Case Management certificate from the Canadian Police College, FBI Crisis Management and a certificate in Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
