George “Riebs” Riebling is Principal, International Business Development, for the Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) sector of L3Harris Technologies. ISR is a global leader in aircraft integration and modernization, missionization, and maintenance, repair and overhaul for strategic ISR platforms for U.S. and international militaries. Mr. Riebling assumed this position in January 2026 and supports all international business development activities for L3Harris’ full line of ISR platforms with emphasis on the AERIS X airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) platform. Before joining L3Harris, Mr. Riebling was a National Security Analyst for My Base Guide and served as a Senior Strategy Analyst and Business Development Capture Team Lead for Boeing Defense and Space on the company’s E-7A Wedgetail Program. Before moving to the defense industry, Mr. Riebling served 10 years as the Deputy General Manager of the NATO AEW&C Programme Management Agency and 26 years in the US Air Force (USAF) as an Air Battle Manager. Mr. Riebling has operational experience in five Battle Management and Command and Control Weapon Systems – E-3 and E-767 AWACS, E-8C JSTARS, Ground Theater Air Control System, NORAD Air Defense, and the Air Operations Center. Mr. Riebling retired in the rank of Colonel, and in his final assignment, served as the Vice Commader of the 116th Air Control Wing (JSTARS) at Robins AFB, Georgia, during the highest operational tempo in the wing’s history. Mr. Riebling served several staff assignments during his USAF career, including tours as the USAF’s Chief of Warfighter Networking, Director of Staff at NATO Allied Air Component Ramstein, Division Chief in the AF Office of Lessons Learned, and Chief of the Commander’s Action Office at the Electronics System Center, Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts. Mr. Riebling received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri and possesses a master’s degree in aviation management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Mr. Riebling completed numerous USAF technical training programs, and is a graduate of NATO Defense College, and a distinguished graduate from the USAF Fighter Weapons School at Nellis AFB, Nevada.
